Blobfish?

Yesterday me and my brother were talking about something, and then he just randomly asks me: "if you could be any animal what would you be?" I don't know what animal I would be, but he said he wanted to be a blobfish. I thought he just made it up cause it doesn't really sound like a real fish. But he made me search it up.... And it looks like a melted cartoon slimy person thing. Now I just can't believe it's a real animal, cause.... Well... Just look for yourself!
